History about Kudzu:

In China, Kudzu has been used as a medication for reducing craves for alcohol since last 600 A.D. It has also been used in Chinese medicine since 200 BC.

According to Chinese physicians, puerarin, a chemical which is contained in Kudzu, helps to treat the problem of stroke caused by blood clot. According to Lukas’ study, 500 mg capsule of Kudzu contains sugar beet-based filler and 4% daidzin, 2 % daidzein and 19% puerarin. One should take 500 mg capsules of Kudzu Extract only three times in a day.

Now, at present Kudzu is also used in many other countries as well as China for the treatment of coronary problems. This herbal extract is also renowned as a Hangover remedy. In China, Kudzu flower has been used as a hangover remedy from ancient times.
