Botanical Name of Varuna Extract:- Crataeva Nurvala

Varuna is a deciduous Ayurvedic tree which belongs from Capparaceae family. It is a native of India and Bangladesh. It has been used as an ayurvedic tree from ancient times. Now it is cultivated in many regions of the world due to its medicinal and herbal properties. Bark, leaves and root bark are used to make medicines. Varuna has smooth and brown bark and purple and yellow branch. Smell of its flower is so pleasant. The flowers and fruits on the tree of Varuna come in summer season. In India, Varuna is planted in abundant quantity in Kerala, Assam, Bengal and Madhya Pradesh. The juice of Varuna is bitter in taste.
